Student Activity Committee (STATIC)

As a freshman at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), I began volunteering as a general member of the Student Activity Committee (STATIC). STATIC provides recreational, social, cultural, and educational events to the students of IUP, and I had the opportunity to shape their experience through event planning, execution, and tear-down. After my freshman year, I was hired as the summer intern for the Student Cooperative Association and the graphics chair for STATIC. I designed various graphics for the committee for print and social advertising, honing my attention to detail and collaborative teamwork skills.

During my internship with the Student Cooperative Association, I assisted with Freshman orientation and planning over the summer. I helped to plan, provided designs for print and social media usage, and assisted with Welcome Week programming for freshmen provided at the beginning of the academic year.
